yesterday I spent most of my day hanging out with randall. A friend of mine that goes back 4 years to my days at chevron. We worked there together right when I moved to pismo from saint george utah. Randall has been a really good friend and in recent times has been a little distant because he moved to santa maria for work and school while I remaind here in the five cities area. Together we have been working on a guitar project. It is an epiphone special guitar that I bought. My first electic ever. When I bought it it was all a clear blue finish very pritty guitar. In the last year I have striped down the guitar done alot of work on it in a effort to make my own custom guitar. Randall fits in because I painted the guitar white and white can be a bit dull but Randall does amazing black and white art. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=6564117 This is a redirection to Randalls myspace. He has photos of his work and I believe photos of the gutiar we are working on together posted in his photo section. Yesterday was a specific talk about a small wood piece that I shaped out of a block of wood that attaches at the top of the neck to cover the trus rod bolt. Hes is going to put some form of art on the small piece. We talked for about four hours yesterday but did not come up with anything inparticular, but thats ok cause randall will handel that part. After our visit I went to the pismo peer and sat right behind the restrooms facing the peer and played some guitar. At first nobody was around so I was just goofing off a little bit, when all at once a group of people came up and sat in front of me hopeing to hear there favorite songs. So I played a coulpe tunes and they loved them. Folsom prison blues, and wish you were here. I wasn't able to play much more for them though as they posed in pictures with me and asked me if I cared to join them on an extacy trip down the beach. I said no thanku as I really wanted to continue playing music. shortly after a group of older gentlmen came up and started singing with me on my cover of trucking by gratful dead. The whole group loved grateful dead so I played friend of the devil and Ripple and they all sang along and proceded to tip me and say good night. Not long after this a police officer came up and told me I was unable to collect money but was alloud to continue playing, so I closed my case and called it a night after three hours and about five bucks, and change. Deffinatly a fun night for me and I toped it of with a mcchicken sandwitch from mcdonalds cause I love those things and then headed on home. I'm hoping that a girl named squirt from the first group will send me copies of the pictures that they took that night so that I may post them here.
